Humans are destroying the universe!

The effects that humans have on the environment is much worse than we first thought. Not only are we destroying earth we are also destroying Mars. Who knows which other planets we are killing. When will the madness end?

Seriously though, this article makes a very good observation. If earth is not alone in experiencing warming then perhaps the culprit is solar energy and hot humans. If that is the case there is little to nothing that we can do to stop the warming so let's get real and stop the madness.

Have you ever bothered to research why climate change scientists don't weigh the 'solar warming' theory as heavily as you do?

Probably because they're biologists and don't understand physics, cosmology, astrophysics, quantum theory....

For your info, biologists are qualified to speak at length and in detail about ecosystems, and the flora and fauna that influence them and are influenced by them. The increasingly early onset of blooming times and animal mating cycles are at least one way that biologists contribute to climate science research. As well, biologists are taught chemistry in much more detail than most physicists (particularly, organic chemistry and carbon chemistry).

Anyone ignoring half of the discussion is doing themselves a disservice. In addition, they are purposely misleading anyone listening to them out of simple intellectual laziness or a fear that they possibly might actually learn something.

Well Anonymous, it cuts both ways. I grew up with a research scientist as a parent, and consequently became an applied scientist after seeing first hand just how fickle and politicized the whole research shpere is. Most scientists have their biases, so their work should be not be blindly accepted just because they are spouting an orthodoxy in order to obtain, maintain or increase their funding and their profile. Selective exclusion of data that disagrees with the prevalent fad is not only intellectually dishonest, it's bad science and contravenes the classic scientific method. Remember over-population and global cooling?

The eco-systems are very transient. They adapt and react based on physical conditions prevalent in the world around them. They are the result of many factors which are quantifiable through physical measurements. Life can only occur where the conditions are optimal for that particular biological iteration. Single celled organisms found around deep oceanic volcanic vents will not be found at the bottom of lakes in the Canadian Shield for example. While biologists can identify the species, and speak to how they react to current conditions, they are ill equipped to venture into the territory of how and why these conditions occurred.

And BTW Organic Chemistry is Carbon Chemistry
